It made the machine usable in my opinion so my hope is to only get a call about how to use this thing once a week. ;-) While viewing some youtube reviews of the device I ran across someone saying that the best feature of 8.1 was syncing the start menu with your desktop background. I didn't get it until I did it. Now the start/metro experience is so much better, makes the metro start screen look like just an app launcher which is so much better. It just feels right.
