The award is based on an annual report released by Software Reviews which is a division of Info-Tech Research Group. product solutions focusing on satisfaction of product features, VAR experience and skills, and likelihood to recommend the software to others. Acumatica placed in the top 4 of the quadrant among other solutions that received composite scores of 8/10. Some of the highlights for Acumatica include ranking first for both business value and usability.

Yardi Adds New Functionality to its Senior Living Solution

Yardi recently updated its EHR (Electronic Healthcare Record) Stream App with new order resolution functionality. EHR Stream Care is fully integrated app with Yardi’s Senior Living Suite. Users no longer have to log in to Yardi EHR to perform order resolutions before charting them in the Yardi Care Stream App. Now you can perform order resolutions directly from the App. The extends mobility for nursing staff.

Acumatica 2021 R1 – What’s Behind the New Dashboard Enhancements

In a previous article we explained what the new link and meter tiles are in 2021 R1. The new tiles are intended to make data more visible and accessible. What is behind these tiles are data from other parts of Acumatica. For instance, the information tied to each link are sourced from either workspaces or forms such as reports/generic inquires. With meter tiles / KPI meters you can set the properties by selecting from several pre-defined filter settings. Also, in 2021 R1, Acumatica now lets you sort data using a funnel chart. This is simply achieved by selecting a new chart from the dashboard and choosing the chart type funnel, which is sorted and configured by opening the hood in filter settings.

Microsoft Introduces PowerPoint Live in Teams

Microsoft has gone to great lengths to improve their Teams app by adding new and improved features since businesses have moved to remote working one year ago. Microsoft’s next step in developing a more robust videoconferencing service comes by adding PowerPoint Live to Teams. Before this update drops, Teams meeting participants can only display their presentations by capturing their screen. But with the addition of PowerPoint Live, presenters can stream their presentations directly through the meeting app. Not only does this streamline presentations, but it allows speakers to “read the room” within the meeting and more easily view the meeting’s chat for questions or comments. The presenter needs to open the PowerPoint deck they want to show and then click on the Present in Teams button to use this feature. The feature is limited to Microsoft’s customers with an Office 365 E3/A3, Office 365 E5/A5, or Microsoft 365 for Government license. To aid Microsoft blogger Lishan Yu has released an article on the feature to help ease users in with a tutorial on the anticipated update. Zonetail Mobile Platform Integrates with Voyager

Zonetail announced this week that their mobile platform is entering beta testing with Yardi with an anticipated roll out in just a few weeks. Zonetail’s new mobile platform for the residential market ‘Zonetail Home’ will afford residents of apartment buildings and condos across North America—managed on the Yardi Voyager solution— the ability to connect to property amenities, building services and management seamlessly. Residents will be able to create and track service requests, interact with property managers, and connect to neighboring services such as grocers, food delivery services, cable/internet services, phone company and more through the integration with Yardi Voyager. The Zonetail mobile platform is used widely in Canada and its new integration with Voyager will enable its launch into the U.S market.
